Bang Lang Stork Garden. According to Nguyen Ngoc Thuyen Nguyễn Ngọc Thuyên in January 1983 a flock of hundreds of black and small birds with grey and white wings flew to the garden. This garden has an area of 15 ha which is the home to over 20 kinds of stork.
Currently Bang Lang stork garden is calling for help against the alarming hunting of many unconscious people. Located in Thoi Thuan Hamlet Thuan An Ward in the suburban district of Thot Not in Can Tho City. Bang Lang Stork Garden is the biggest bird sanctuary in the Mekong Delta.
Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary is one of the most famous attractions in Can Tho also one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Mekong River Delta.
Right from the entrance there are green bamboos at two sides shading down onto the path as if they are welcoming you. A sightseeing tour of Bang Lang offers visitors a feeling of peace and relaxation in their mind. But even though you are not it is still a stunning sight for everyone to see storks and other beautiful birds in a wooded area surrounded by vast rice fields and rivers.
