The Albanian Cultural Garden is among the newer additions to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in Rockefeller Park and was the first garden to be located on Martin Luther King Jr. The statue and garden dedication in 2012 also commemorated the 100th anniversary of Albanian. The dedication of the garden in 2012 was attended by Albanian President Bujar Nishani Albanian Ambassador Gilbert Galanxhi and Cleveland Mayor Frank JacksonThe ceremony included three musicians who were adopted as children from one of the orphanages of Mother Teresa.
Anila Nicklos from the Cleveland Albanian community spoke about the new Albanian Cultural Garden and the dedication to and statue of Mother Teresa.
Cultural Gardens Past-President is Grand Marshall of St Patricks Day Parade March 19 2018. The statue and garden dedication in 2012 also commemorated the 100th anniversary of Albanian.
