Adelene Fletcher spent several years at Manchester College of Art in the latter part of the 1950s and went on to work in a textile design studio as a Design Consultant. Adelene completed her training at the Manchester College of Art during the 1950s and went on to work in a textile design studio before progressing to become a Design Consultant. A darker background was used sometimes in Roman fresco. I have always loved the Dutch Masters still life paintings of flowers and how the black brings out the intense colour of the arrangements.
